LANCASTER, Pa. - No. 3 seed Haverford knocked off second-seeded Gettysburg 3-1 (30-25, 30-28, 28-30, 30-26) in the Centennial Conference semifinals on Saturday afternoon at host Franklin & Marshall's Mayser Center. With the win, Haverford (23-4) advances to take on top-seed Franklin & Marshall tomorrow afternoon in the CC Championship game.

Junior outside hitter Laura Nuyen led the Fords' attack with a double-double, posting 20 kills and 24 digs while hitting .314. Freshmen outside hitter Rebecca Salvo (15 kills and 27 digs) and junior setter Emily Hinchcliff (59 assists and 19 digs), recently named all-conference first and second team respectively, also posted double-doubles for Haverford.

Freshman setter Amanda Krampf (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) and junior right side Lauren Thul (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central), a pair of All-Centennial Conference first-team selections, led the Bullets (20-9) with double-doubles. Krampf had team highs in both assists (40) and digs (28). Thul led the team in kills with 14 while also adding 12 digs. Senior middle hitter Hillary Prutzman (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) pitched in with seven kills and a match-high nine blocks for Gettysburg.

Senior libero Steph Vial (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic), who was also named first-team All-CC, and junior defensive specialist Katie Potochney (Roselle, N.J./Roselle Catholic) also added double-digit dig totals of 15 and 11, respectively.

The loss snapped Gettysburg's season-high eight-match win streak, and the Bullets end the season with an overall record of 20-9.
